After a week of solid bad news for Honduras, our national team has beat Trinidad and Tobago 4-1 for the Soccer World Cup Qualifiers! This result places us at the top of the table with 13 points, above the US and Costa Rica. I had my doubts that we’d be able to do this, as Trinidad had beat us the last two times we had played them at home.
Two goals were by veteran player Carlos Pavón, one by team captain Amado Guevara, shown above, and a final goal by David Suazo, who hasn’t played with our team in a while.

OK, now I have to pay better attention. Yeah, I'm happy for Honduras and all, but, GO US!
Thanks for the update.

The US will be coming here next month to play but we are considering revoking the laws that allow all Americans to travel freely with a passport. The players will be required to have visas which will start being issued when the State Dept accepts the elections and welcomes the new president to the White House for a formal apology to the 90% of Hondurans that have been abandoned.
The above comment is fiction. Sorry, but after nearly three months of daily and nightly blogging our tails off, posting and pasting and offering feedback against the dis-information campaign….. well needed to lighten up and make a good joke.
That reminds me of the disaster movie, the day after tommorrow, when the Mexican government denies entry to the refugees from Canada and the US, and they start crossing the river anyway.
Yeah, Beer Summit II at the White House…
