The story is confirmed. Manuel Zelaya has returned to Honduras, with the knowledge of the US State Department, and is currently in the Brazilian Embassy. Why now? I suppose it is because there is a meeting in the UN National assembly this week. By returning now, Zelaya is provoking Micheletti to arrest him, and be immediately condemned by the entire UN general assembly.

This is a very delicate game. The first move was to assemble his followers. I bet there will be bloodshed and victims for Zelaya to claim the government attacked them. The quickness with which the US State Department confirmed Zelaya’s presence suggest they knew of his plans. More data as it occurs.
